Marlene, thank you for helping us remember with your touching post. I was on the Jersey side of the Hudson River the day the towers came down.

This is not my photo; it's a recent military release, but it shows the grace of democracy against the nihilism of political terrorists.

It is a reminder of God's grace to us in a fallen world. How difficult it must be to believe that life has no meaning; that we live in a random universe with no purpose.

I'm glad to know that "my Redeemer lives."
