Mud at Low Tide in Charleston, SC

Often in real estate, you hear the term "mud at low".  What the heck does "mud at low" mean ?  Usually, "mud at low" is referring to mud at low tide.  Low tide may be a good thing for someone fishing or casting for shrimp.  But for someone buying property, it is a important factor for to consider, especially if the property comes with a dock.  For obvious reasons, the level of water at low tide can mean everything in relation to property value.  Just something to consider.

Interesting.  I have never heard that Mud at Low term before!  I suppose it's something to consider for oceanfront properties.  Here we don't get much of a difference really from high to low tide.

Hi Georgina, that is interesting....the difference in tide levels for HI and SC....Tide level around here means a lot of different things.  On high tide, the streets downtown flood.  Lots of tidal creeks go to mud !  Thanks for the comment, and have a great day!
