Top Five Resolutions for 2011

1. Lose weight

2. Cooking/Eating Healthier

3. Find more time for Friends/ Family

4. Be More Active

5. Generate More Income

This is a list shared by many of us! I can encourage you to watch your diet and remind yourself every day that feeling thin is better than tasting good. With many years of dieting experience, I've found that dieting is a full time effort.

All of us know that we will feel better if we eat lighter and avoid the fatty foods that also help us gain weight.

Many real estate professionals spend too little time with family and friends. For 2011, let's all schedule those time in our appointment books.

Daily walks through your community will help keep you healthy. If you have a camera in hand, you can even have fun taking pictures of the flowers and seasonal decorations.

So, with the first four items, most of us know what we need to do.

Item number five is more elusive for most. My recommendation is to invest in real estate if you are seeking wealth. The large number of foreclosures create distress for tens of thousands of families but every one of those situations creates opportunity for the next purchasers.

Now is the best time in recent years to take action to purchase a new home and to purchase rental properties that will supplement retirement income. If you have the skills, substantial profits are available for those that purchase and renovate homes and then sell them.

Set and meet your personal goals for 2011 for good health, happiness and security.

 Happy New Year!

Great plans for sure!!!   I think being a Realtor with an erratic schedule really does play havoc with a good eating plan!    It is so important to plan ahead and bring healthy food for lunch!   Not only is it good for the waistline but also for the pocketbook!!!
