Why should I become a RainMaker?

By

A career as a Real Estate agent is hard enough work as it is. On top of everything else I have to do, "Why should I become a RainMaker?"

Too much work

Well, I'll tell you why. Lately I have been searching for homes online. Typing in various search terms for different areas and all I keep coming across are websites littered with too much information and ads all over the place. Not too mention when you do a search on one of these sites you end up with hundreds of properties to look at! That's fine if I'm just looking. But what if I'm a motivated buyer and I know exactly what I want?

Wouldn't it be nice to type into Google exactly what your looking for and find it? Yeah it would! That's exactly what the RainMaker product here at AvtiveRain does.

Google views ActiveRain as an authority on real estate information (Google's words, not mine or AR's). ActiveRain's SEO is through the roof which when you correctly build a blog, it will post on the front page of Google and the other major search engines and stay there! If you don't know how to correctly structure a public blog that's ok, we provide free unlimited blog training to our members through activerainuniversity.com.

Should you ignore your website? Absolutely not! Your publicly posted blogs through ActiveRain have another purpose, link them to your website! The more links you have to your website the more powerful it becomes, that's why ActiveRain's blogging platform is so powerful. We have millions of links to our self! But, you can't do any of that unless you are a RainMaker.......So what are you waiting for?

Food for thought: If 90% of all buyers last year found their property online then it would make sense to have not just internet exposure, but a STRONG internet presence! The RainMaker  product is exactly that. It's social marketing made simple through real estate blogging.

I will say my blogs do really well on Google even if they do less well here on Active Rain.

Hey Sam -I'm still a little on the fence about being a Rainmaker - I'm enjoying learning about other markets - and getting to know some pretty incredible Realtors to hopefully build long-term referral networks with... I guess I don't understand much about it - and even though $40 / month wouldn't break the bank - it just is one more expense to factor in... but, I am thinking...  Cheers, Wendy Betts - Vancouver BC
