Stuck in the Same 5 Groups? Here's a Great Way to Find More
If you are like me, I have browsed the groups and can't seem to find anymore interesting ones then the 5 I seem to post to everyday. Then I started looking through veteran ActiveRain member's blogs and started noticing all these groups I had never heard of before!
In case you were unaware, under the blog is all the information that writer wanted you to know about the blog, for SEO purposes and other things. In that information is the 5 groups the writer posted the blog in.
These 5 groups maybe ones you have heard about and they may not but it's a great way to learn about other groups.
I heard somewhere recently that some groups are not active and posting to them will be a dead end. This is why I recommend searching the veteran bloggers. Those that are well known or have many features. You have seen them on the ActiveRain homepage many times or seen people mention them several times. I would probably guess that anyone with over 200K points probably knows which groups are the gold mines and which are not. Take their lead. Check out their posts and see how they categorize them, place them into groups and their tags. These are all ways to boost your own blog even more with the most exposure. 
The blogger will also write in what channel they have posted in and it can be a great launching pad for finding other amazing blogs, commenting and gaining subscribers.
So play around and search through those blogs for interesting groups that may be more of a fit for you, your blog and your readers.
