Windy on Long's Peak today

By

Greetings from Estes Park!

After I dropped the boys off at school this morning, I couldn't resist driving out on HWY 7 to get a shot of Meeker and Long's Peaks with the clouds blowing across them...and the morning sun shining sideways across the sky. I was out of the car just long enough to take a photo or two, with the temperature right at zero and 60 mph winds...it was a little chilly!

Great picture Lisa.  I can imagine you were freezing.  It's cold down in Denver.  I am sure you guys have got to be so much colder.  Stay warm!

Wow - beautiful picture.  We were promised snow but after about 2 inches it turned to rain and has been just dumping ever since.  Thanks for letting me live vicariously through your pretty picture :)    Have a good day.  ...geri
