The Lodge at Copperhead is one of north Georgia's premier mountain resorts. But more about that in a minute.... ....let's talk about your new digs! This unit is a real log "park model" cabin. The combined living/dining/kitchen area has plenty of room for a sofa and easy chair, dinette table and plenty of kitchen cabinets. Appliances include a range, microwave and full-size refrigerator. The stacked washer and dryer are included as well. The full bath has a shower, single sink and commode. The bedroom easily accommodates a queen-size bed.
This unit is being sold with some furnishings included and ready to enjoy. Some of the owners personal favorites are not available while others are available for purchase separately. Outside you will find a covered front porch, great for sipping a warm cup of cocoa and watching the sunrise across the beautiful mountains. There's also a covered porch accessed by sliding doors off the living area. This would be a great porch to screen and "bring the outdoors in" during those cool summer evenings. There's even a garage to protect your motorcycle or other mountain toys and all roads in the resort are paved as is your driveway/parking area.
Now, let's talk about the resort itself! The concept of the Lodge was started as resort for motorcycle or car enthusiasts and the theme revolves around that. Purchased last year by new owners, they have done a great job providing lots of activities and entertainment. The Lodge has a full-service restaurant and the recent passing of the "liquor by the drink" law in Union County is now allowing them to serve beer, wine and mixed drinks to the public. There is also a private, members only club and members receive discounts on events, drinks, meals, etc. Pool use is included in your private membership but is also available to non-members for a nominal fee.
You might even want to consider using your cabin as a vacation rental to help generate income for you while you're not there. You can manage it yourself, have an off-site manager or the owners of The Lodge will be happy to manage it for you. This unit has been extremely well maintained and is in excellent condition with great rental potential!
