WHat's the scoop on internet fax?

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with ADT Real Estate

I have come to the realization that I'm in need of internet faxing. The problem is that I really don't have a clue which is the best one to use. I don't mean the cheapest, I'm looking for the best. I use Free Fax now when I'm in a bind, but I'd like to be able to get one that I will continue to use nad can print the number on my cards and such.

Any ideas for a guy who just can't get his fax across?

I use www.efax.com great service and features. Send and receive from anywhere. Reasonably priced.

Andrew, I use to use efax but my bill was 60.00 one month. I know use impactfax, it is only 12.50 per month and your assistants can get the same doc's you do. I love it !

We've been using Myfax.com for almost 2 years now. You can send 100 pages per month and receive 200 pages per month for only $10. We sometimes go over it, but I've rarely gone over $30 even in the heaviest month.

Andrew - I've heard of www.efax.com myself, but I let our in-house tech guy (Co-owner) take care of the details.  Not sure off hand what exactly we use.

I've used  www.maxemail.com  for the last 5 years or so.  It's less than $100 a year (they said rates were going a year ago, but then charged my card the old fee - no complaints here).   Does cost me 5 cents a page to send, but nothing to receive.

You need to get one.  I fax myself the signed contracts and lots of other stuff to archive.  Much faster than scanning and I can do it from any fax machine.

Very little (none) junk faxes!

I also use maxemail-have been very happy with it.  My 866 number receives both faxes and voicemails which is very convenient.  Best thing is that it's easy to upload into Docusign for electronic signatures, eliminates a scanning step and makes the docs clearer.

Thanks all for the info. Does efax or maxemail need to have any software to run? I've heard of issues with the programs required to make them work properly.

Randy, it looks like efax is the big pick right now, but there are varying opinions.

SO funny that I was just exploring this avenue as well. I had come across MightyFax and MyFax but I really don't like either.
