The following picture is as you enter the subdivision off of Gill Rd heading West on Navin St. This neighborhood is located right next to Deer Creek in between 7 & 8 Mile Rd just west of Gill. Summer Creek is just like living on a giant cul-de-sac as there is only one way in and one way out. There are 61 homes located in the sub which were built mostly in the late 1980's. From the moment you enter Summer Creek you will notice the tremendous pride of ownership the residents have by noticing the well kept yards and homes. The local school district for the area is LIVONIA MICHIGAN PUBLIC SCHOOLS with LIVONIA STEVENSONas the high school. The previous picture is of Summer Creek during a pretty heavy snow. I took that picture while showing homes in the area and thought it was a pretty nice picture to use along with the good weather picture. Summer Creek has great access to local expressway I125 and I96, Downtown Farmington, Downtown Northville, grocery shopping, parks, health-care, shopping and much more. In the next few pictures I will show you just a few great local Livonia attractions. In the first picture we have Bicentennial Park which is a short drive or even a short walk to get to. Bicentennial Park offers ball fields, wooded walking trails, tennis courts, playground equipment and even a local fire station. Next up is for all of you shoppers out there--Laurel Park Place Mall. Laurel Park Place is about a 5 minute drive away and has good shopping, food court, mall walking and movie theaters. The third picture of the building with the rounded glass exterior is the LIVONIA MICHIGAN RECREATION CENTER which also is a very short drive away. The Livonia Rec Center offers rock climbing wall, exercise equipment, two swimming pools, two basketball courts, party rooms, hot tub, sauna and much more.
