Arizona New Homes - New Homes in Arizona

Many people in The Valley view buying a home with a fairly simple logic: Older homes are cheaper than newer homes.  Due to this train of thought, pre-owned homes are the first place that home buyers look when thinking of purchasing a home.  What many people don't realize is that buying a newly built home can be just as inexpensive as buying a pre-owned or distressed property for several reasons!

Of course, one of the main selling points of buying New Homes in Arizona is that you and/or your family will be the first to reside in the property.  You won't have to worry about structural damage, carpet odor, cosmetic redesigning, or any other upgrades that older homes may not have.  This is huge when you think about a long-term investment.  Many builders will work with you to insure that your new home meets all standards, both for the state and for yourself!  It's also easier to install newer technology into a home that is just being built.  For example, cable and phone jacks, specialized ports for newer electronic systems, as well as new-age security systems.  Trying to install these and other items of the like is very difficult in a pre-existing home as you would need to remove parts of walls, floors, and ceilings to do this.

Another reason for buying new versus buying pre-owned is that the home is made with better building materials and will be more up-to-date with current housing trends!  Some of these trends include: 10' high ceilings and great room floor plans, which is when the kitchen and the main family room are more connected, allowing for better family time.  Also, due to the rise of concern about energy-efficiency, home builders are now making it their business to make sure that their structures comply with any and all energy-saving techniques.  With better insulation, low usage electric/water appliances and no-tank water heaters, you can feel safe knowing that not only are you helping the environment, but your utility bills won't be nearly as high!

Home builders are also offering monetary incentives for purchasing a new home instead of buying a pre-owned home.  It all depends on the builder, but you can enjoy such incentives as: Monetary help for those who have served in our military, a lower asking price on "Spec Homes" (Homes that are built under the assumption that they will be purchased and moved into quickly with predetermined upgrades), and incentives for utilizing the builder's mortgage company which may result in the builder paying for closing costs or even a full year of HOA fees!

When buying an Arizona New Home, all of these points are excellent to consider, but also keep in mind a very important fact: Buying new is a better long-term investment than buying old!
