I recently read a blog post from a Houston Realtor with the above title. This Houston Real Estate Agent states that within 5 hours of the posting that she had nine #1 appearances in google for very specific key words. However in my opinion those key words the Houston Realtor posted are a little to specific. So specific that i don't think anyone other than the Houston Real Estate Agent who wrote the posting will ever search for those key words.
Being found at the top of google for specific key words like Houston Real Estate is very important however when those key words are "brick home on main street with sunroom" they don't do you any real good because the ods of someone actually being that specific in their search are pretty slim.
Another thing I noticed about the posting is that the Houston Real Estate Agent who wrote the post didn't use any real links back to the property other than the mls#. I think the Houston Real Estate Agent post would be more effect if say they included a link naming the subdivision or zip code. Example "Lakes of Cypress Forest" or say "homes for sale in 77388". Links like these are more valuable than just words on a page.
My point is that you can be at the top of googe in just a few hours if the key words you choose are very way to specific. However it takes time and a lot of linking back to get to the top of google for key words such as "Houston Realtor" or "Houston Real Estate" or "Houston Homes Fore Sale".
