There were 55 successfully closed home sales in Charlotte NC's Providence Plantation neighborhood in 2010.
That's higher than activity a year ago and was the first INCREASE in home sales activity since 2004.
Even with an increase in the amount of home sold in 2010, over the past few years there's been less demand (buyers) and that challenge for home sellers hasn't really gone away.
The average sales price for SOLD Providence Plantation homes was $431,700 in 2010 - down slightly from a year ago.
The average neighborhood home sales price has been falling since 2008 though the decline wasn't as steep in 2010.
