Sometimes a person just has to stop in their tracks...

I attend one of the branches of a megachurch in the Houston, Texas area (about 55,000 members - can you guess which one?), and today's topic was "The Real SuperBowl."  So, as part of the excitement, most all of us wore "team jerseys."  Some wore the colors of the Super Bowl teams.  Some wore the Aggies crimson. Some wore UT orange. Some wore U of H Cougars red.  Some wore the jerseys of their favorite local highschool team.


But, I have to admit that I stopped in my tracks when I saw this.  This gentleman was with the Flying Tigers, in WWII.  LOOK at the sign that he rigged up to show HIS "team spirit."  Wow.

Sports, big part of who Americans are. Was at the IBU World Cup Biathlon winter games today in Aroostook County and blogged about it, posted pictures too. Neat to be outside filling up lungs and hooting for the Americans, other 59 contestants from around the world in Presque Isle Maine.
