Happy Bucks: Bob Kreisberg had an eye opening experience while delivering Meals on Wheels. A gentleman answered the door wearing only his pajama top- Bob's recommendation: like a tight rope walker don't look down. See, there are some interesting benefits to delivering those meals!! Bob Meyer was at the ground breaking ceremony of the C47 Museum which will honor glider pilots from WWII. He got six paintings donated and was happy to learn they were in Tustin, not Texas as her originally suspected. Part of the deal was Bob had to pick the pictures up. Nagy Ibrahim- saluted our speech participants and Dr Linda Bartrom- Olsen. Will Warren's fiance is in the running for a $1.8 million grant for health sciences. We're all pulling for to get the award which is distributed over 5 years. Pam Dunn- raved about a deep tissue massage she got from Lea Bowshear. If we can get 20 members to attend the ticket price will be reduced by half= $63/ per person. The event includes dinner, live auction and dancing. Date: March 11th at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa. Steven Pollack has been away and missed us. While away he did some great cycling, celebrated a birthday and spent some time in Vail, Colorado. Eric Sense- went to the Super Bowl, but could not get in. This breaks his 13 year streak of attendance without a ticket. Eric reported that the cheapest ticket he could find was $3000. Better luck next year!!
