(EXTENDED VERSION OF "BARTENDER MAKE IT A DOUBLE")

MONDAY- OPENED 2 ESCROWS. FOR A LISTING AND A PURCHASE

TUESDAY- 7AM HOME INSPECTIONS

9:30- OVER ORTEGA HWY TO VIEW 11 PROPERTIES, WENT TO SEE THE HOUSE THAT THEY WANT TO WRITE AN OFFER ON, one more time..... AND MY CAR STARTED, BUT WAS DRIVING 10MPH, AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

I want to freakN scream!!! Can I say that???? OK~ in all these years in the business here and in TX, this has NEVER happened to me... I am the type to get a tire before my tire decides to BLOW UP on the side of the road.... If I have transmission issues? Go get a new transmission... I like my car, foreign, but I know what it takes to keep it NICE to me... Oil change when needed. Synthetic oil only.... You get where I am going??? Since I am always with clients, showing property, that is one thing I always keep up... the car! Due to my business...

SO, I am freaking out still.............................. Yes, I broke down and yelled at my transmission guy! GUILTY! I went a little koo-koo! He wouldn't let me talk. He talked over me... and then said he was charging me for a tow, if it wasn't the transmission... So, I am just KOO-KOO! I think the stress and a lil embarrassed.... (I think) or more Pissed for paying so much for a transmission, like thousands, then the rudeness... and then this... AGH!! I know I need to chill... it happened a few hours ago already... >>>>> My virtual drink should be a REAL drink!

WELL, MY CLIENT WAS SO NICE TO WAIT AND SEE IF MY CAR MADE IT TO THE AUTO ZONE UNTIL ROADSIDE SVC GOT TO ME.... I WAS SUPPOSE TO GO WRITE THE OFFER AND HEAD TO THEIR HOUSE. THEY TOLD ME TO EMAIL IT (THANK GOD FOR WINFORMS!!!) AND THEY WOULD SIGN THE OFFER AND FAX TO ME... (THEY CONTINUE TO BE SUCH AMAZING CLIENTS...PATIENT AND LOVELY... THEY DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE ME..) I'M SO LUCKY, BUT AGAIN.... WHAT A CRAZY COUPLE OF DAYS, BUT MOSTLY NIGHT.............

SO, BARTENDER!!! MAKE IT A DOUBLE!!! HECTIC WEEK & IT'S ONLY DAY 2 OF THE WEEK....

NOT SURE WHAT IT IS, BUT GOT A BOOST FROM AAA, DID NOT TURN CAR OFF AND WENT OVER THE ORTEGA AND DROPPED THE CAR OFF WITH MY MECHANIC~ WE WILL SEE WHAT IS GOING ON.... BOO!!! I GUESS YOU KNOW WHERE MY COMMISSION IS GOING.....

9:50PM- I GET HOME............

LOOONGGGG DAY!

Lauren, One of my favorite radio personalities used to give out a "Mink Massage Mitten" to callers who seemed stressed when talking to him. I think I could do more for you with The Mink Mitten then a bartender could do with a double. You certainly would feel better in the morning with a good massage then a hang over. Not sure what your driving but sounds like you need a new mechanic, one that stocks a healthy supply of RESPECT. I also have to throw in here that I used to love my Fiat(s) back in the day but when I moved out into the middle of North Dakota I knew I better have a Ford if I wanted parts and service.

Lauren - Sorry to hear you had such a bad day, but I"m so glad your clients were so understanding and you handled via email and your clients signed it and faxed it back!

As far as car maintenance, I'm the opposite -never "service" it until something goes wrong, always 1000's mile past when the oil should've been changed and often late getting it inspected (which has cost me a ticket or 2 in my lifetime. I need to be more proactive like you! Hope you have a better day today!

Lauren - I think we've all had those days, hoping the double smooths out the nerves a bit. The good news is you get a commission to fix the car. Much better than losing the closing and can't fix the car!

Bob~REALMAN~ I drive a CLK500. I love the car, never gave me issues, (till I got the new transmission), but I hate to say it, but when I got a new transmission, it started doing funky stuff! I really should get another car since I have this one a while...but it's nice owing zilch! BTW~ I never drink to get drunk and usually one will do the job!

You are too funny Kristine~ today was better when the transmission guy said he thinks it just needs a new battery. I said, "well, fix the part where my key needs to be turned for 10 seconds before it starts>>> issue" since it didn't do that when i left it there for a new transmission... As for the oil>>> always changed... I just have it done when I get the car washed... Just that news made it a better day......... ;)

Jason~ I am glad to hear it wasn't a commission FIX~ Thank the LORD~ I always wonder what people do that don't get paid the way we do... ??? Go into savings or credit card IT! OMG~ I can't imagine...

Well, Charita~ took a breather... had a long walk today with my son (that's a first!), had sushi, and got a call from zillow~ they have me as AV Realtor on their site and yahoo... So, that ALL made it a great day!!! ;) (I WILL BE BLOGGING ON THAT SHORTLY ;) )

BOB~ "R"~ Yeah! I did>>> the hot rod??? I use to drive domestic~ I actually miss my Escalade, but since I took my son's car away for losing his license.... (bad boy!) I thought why have 2 cars? So, I got rid of it and I will get the SUV~ when he gets his license back...
