Wow - there is so much to do & so much to learn!  We are just getting back into real estate after more than 6 years of pursuing other interests: my husband thought he was going to retire & I thought I was going to just be a laid-back retailer having fun with a gourmet kitchen store.  Hmph!  I Store frontnever knew that retail could be so grueling and, worse yet, so expensive!  No, there is not much money to be made in retail - especially these days.  So we are back in business and so much has changed.  We kept up with our licenses and even established our own brokerage just to handle referrals & our own real estate so we knew what the market was doing but . . . blogging????  Gee - I never thought about that.  And texting is something new to us also.

Well, I stumbled onto Active Rain this week when checking out LinkedIn (I was told that we needed to join that) and I've been hooked ever since.  There is so much to learn and so many diI Love Bloggingrections in which to go I just don't know where to start.

I've written our first blog & sent it out to all of our friends, family and distant aquaintances & now am at a loss for ideas as to our next blog.  Well, I guess it all comes with practice.

So glad to join the group & get tips from those of you who have "been around the block".

Welcome Ron and Ellen.  I'm a newbie myself (just under two months).

I had never blogged before either...now I'm hooked!  Best to both of you!
