As of 9/24/07, real estate market conditions continue to be stable relative to the conditions we have experienced in the near western suburbs of Chicago over the past four months. Currently, in Hinsdale IL, we have 358 active listings of detached homes. These properties have an average market exposure time of 218 days on market. Of these 358 homes, 16 are under contract. That means about 4% of the active listing inventory is sold.
Over the past 30 days, there have been 15 new contracts accepted. Over the same marketing period last year, there were 22 accepted real estate contracts.
Hinsdale has an average asking price of $1,464,044 where 72 detached homes are being marketed with asking prices of more than $2,000,000.
