Farewell, Fickle February
For a month with only 28 days, February 2011 has sure seemed to stretch on and on. Too much snow too late in the winter and in too little a time span has me feeling like February has overstayed its welcome. I'm not one to let the weather get me down; however, I am looking forward to longer days and a little more sunshine. I would like to trade my parka for a trench coat and switch my snow brush out with an umbrella.
Farewell, fickle February. And welcome windy March.

Oh Kathryn, it has been a winter to remember. I have a listing that I put on Feb. 1 The driveway was 350 feet long and became ice all the way. So glad this month is over. Things are picking up now. Happy Tuesday!

I agree, I'm ready for March, too, wind and all! I notice that even the sun is coming up a little earlier in the morning, yay!
James: We actually had a dry day today.

Steve: There's the odd chance that we may see one more blizzard, but for the most part we are over the hump.
Brenda: It adds a little spring to the step to have the sun greet you in the AM.
Karen: Yes - I don't know one person who is mourning the end of this winter.
