The one thing that people fail to do when meeting with the preparer is ASK QUESTIONS!
The 'Legal' deductions change all the time and you need to know about what to expect in the coming year as to what is deductible and at what rate ect.
Failing to do this could cause you to buy Uncle Sam a nice night out!
No, my husband is working on our taxes because I don't have the heart for it.

Randi, great advice...while I do my own taxes I also have an accountant that I go to for advice and I'm sure to call him long before taxes are due because he's usually too busy to talk by then...Uncle Sam needs to get his night out from someone else!!!
