Harlem Globetrotters vs. Washington Generals at Trask Coliseum

The FANTABULOUS Harlem Globetrotters are bringing their unique style of basketball to Wilmington NC! This is the kind of fun the whole family can enjoy! I speak from experience when I tell you it's going to be a GREAT time!

Here's a little bit of trivia for you. One of the Harlem Globetrotters most beloved players, Meadowlark Lemon, is a Wilmington NC native!

As part of their 4 Times the Fun 2011 North American Tour, the Globetrotters will be playing the Washington Generals on March 18, 2011 at Trask Coliseum located on the campus of UNCW. The game starts at 7pm. Tickets are $28 ~ $75 and can be purchased online.

Tish I remember when I was in elementary and middle school, the Harlem Globetrotters use to come to town at the Cobo Arena. I remember because me and one of my friends shared a birth date and the Globetrotters would come around that time.

Tish, I'm sure you know that they give out free tickets to different youth groups. They are such great professionals. I wish more of the "pro" teams would take a hint from them.

I can still hear the GlobeTrotter's music in my head right now. It was always an uplifting tune and fun to watch them shoot hoops. I did not know one fo them was from Wilmington but I am not surprised. ;)
