My body shop is better than your body shop!!

Not that we're in competition! :)

I just came back from picking my car up from THE BEST body shop here in Vancouver, BC. Do you need some body work? Visit www.vieta.com - Vieta Import Auto Body Ltd. is located at 110 West 2nd Avenue.

First - how did I get there? :( I was in an accident a couple of weeks ago (NOT my fault!).. I got rear ended and my bumper had some damage. This is accident number 3 for my poor little car (again - NOT my fault!). Now I don't know about you - but I am more attached to my car than I am my own family (kidding....kind of).

She's a 1992 Lexus SC400 - she's in her cougar years... but I LOVE HER!! Some of my friends tease me for having a car that's close to 20 years old... but if you know this model you'll know what I'm talking about. (If Lexus was still making this model - MAYBE I'd think about an upgrade at some point...) For those who don't know... she looks like this.

She's a powerkitten - V8 engine.. purrrrrs... super smooth ride with lots of power! So fun!!

Her and I are meant to be!! My goal is to drive her till I can drive her no more... and then I'll save her in my garage so I can be buried in her one day.... okay... taking it to far, but you get where I'm going.

So! Back to the bodyshop! Visit number 3 for me in the last 3 years or so. Everytime I bring my car in - Eduardo (the owner) treats me so well - he consistantly makes sure that all of the work is done to his very high standards.. and I drive away feeling like I'm driving a brand new car and always with a big smile on my face!! He's that nice!! I'm a big fan of great customer service - and that's exactly what you get here!

So! I thought I should spread the news and let others know that if you're looking for a bodyshop - CALL THESE GUYS!! You'll be so happy you did!

Oh and once again - my car looks FABOOSH!!

Hello Emily and your title also caught my attention, and it's very difficult for so many women to get a good deal from a mechanic and or anyone that works on cars. Most of the shops try and rip-off women because of their lack of knowledge when it comes to cars. Now please don't get me wrong there are plenty of men that don't know anything about cars also and I am glad you found someone good ... ;o)

Emily, you are so darn cute! I'm with you.... I have an '03 CLK500 and I just don't need to go buy a new car.... I just don't need to get rid of it... Although, I did a really dumb thing the other day and told my son to take the sand bag off the bottom of the hoop, in which I had noooooo idea my husband took the water out of the tank of the stand that fills with sand or water and only left the sand bag on. Well, what do you know the 10' hoop fell on the trunk of my car. My guy at(MY BODY SHOP charged me $350-, another shop wanted $550- So, I think I got a great deal ;)

Emily, Your title also caught my attention. And I know what you mean about getting attached. I love my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. For years, everyone asks when I am going to buy the newest and greatest -- and I have absolutely no interest. My Jeep is great.
