Is the Real Estate Market Improving in the KINGSTOWNE Area of Alexandria?

It seemed at times during the winter home buyers were frozen by the cold temperatures and occasional snowfall.  Now that the trees are starting to bud and the robins have appeared, though, the home buyers have reappeared as well.

In the ALEXANDRIA VA 22315 zip code, which encompasses the very popular community of KINGSTOWNE,  22 properties settled in the past 30 days.  At present, though, 65 properties are under contract.  Since there are only 94 active listings, that's a pretty brisk absorption rate and signs are pointing to a robust spring market.

Susan;  Buyers love to come out in the spring and I can see why looking at homes in freezing temperatures would not be as fun!!!

Susan, we had some snow flurries today...but nothing on the ground, just cold. Looking forward to Spring and seeing buyers reappearing like the flowers and robins.

Susan - I'm sure in no time those 94 homes for sale will start to disappear.  Great market information!
