Self discovery is an amazing process. We all do it to some level all the time. I believe the more we discover about ourselves the more we can help ourselves and in turn help our clients. I also believe if your not growing your complacent and probably not focusing on your goals or advancement. One of the methods I've learned about is a releasing of negative feelings. The more we dwell on the things that hurt us from the past the more it cripples our future. When we seek inner peace we are often released of the negative feelings of apathy, grief, fear and move closer to courage, acceptance and the final goal of peace. One thing I have learned in my successful 11 year career is that there will always be huge rewards and disappointments. I believe this is in all fields but the highs are much higher in real estate and the lows can be much lower. We are working with big ticket items which pay us hefty rewards. So next time that deal falls apart or that commission is cut due to something out of your control, Accept it. Welcome it with a smile and be grateful you are in the best industry in the universe. And if that client goes on without you remember their referrals would have sucked anyway. ;) One more quick idea that has been a great blessing to me......If you don't roll with passion you min-as-e-well not roll at all.
