Absolute REO Solutions - Does anyone work with this REO BPO Company?

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with WERTH REALTY

Just checking into them before I decide to work with them.  I work with a number of BPO and REO companies and have not gotten burnt for the exception of Evaluation Solutions which was resolved.

If you have worked with Absolute REO Solutions, please reply back with your input and experience please!

I have signed up, and they assigned 1 BPO and paid in a timely manner, but then it stopped and I have contacted them by e-mail many times, no response back. They also keep soliciting me and all the other Agents in my office to sign up, promising work. Do they have the work they are promising? or are they just selling their service?

I was wondering the same thing as Inger.  I just signed up, did my first BPO & now I think I might have fallen for a scam.  YUCK!!! not fun

4/25/2011,  I signed up in February 2011, and received one BPO immediately, nothing since then, and they do not return calls and their phones don't work part time.  I requested the refund from my credit card and am disputing the charges.  I believe it is a true scam.  $50 return on $295 investmet not good.  Thanks

I was approached by Absolute REO a couple of days ago.  I read their legal agreement and there were several points including words that were spelled incorrectly that raised my suspicious.  So I decided to ask around and thanks to one of my colleagues that referred me to this site.  I ended up turning them down.  Your comments just saved me $295.00, Thanks!!  Best regards.

I just got a call 2 days ago to sign up with Absolute. When I first answered the phone the guy said he was from AREO or something. He gave his pitch how he had a BPO in my area and how it WOULD turn into an REO. I kept pressing him for the full name of the company and when he said Absolute I told him I knew all about them from the blog. Guess what? He hung up on me, I didn't even have to hang up on him. STAY AWAY FROM ABSOLUTE REO. They always give (1) BPO to start with so you think your in the loop. In my opinion I think the BPO is a fake!!!!!! I have read the many blogs about them in the past from this site and am sorry to hear other Realtors are being scammed before checking them out. I also don't know why they are still in business.

Just received a call from Absolute REO also said ABSREO and queried me on the type of marketing & advertising I do & that they just received a lot of work from Wells Fargo in my area.  They said they currently have a BPO available in my zip code 33981 and asked if I was willing to take it then rolled into what credit card did I want to put the $295 on.  I immediately searched Active Rain & read the feedback & declined the offer. THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR THE HEADS UP!

I received the call several days ago and one of my associates just got a call from them as well.  I have never paid for a BPO or an REO account and I don't intend to start now.  They are definately a scam!  They tried to get me last year as well and when I told them they could send me a listing and when it closes take the $295 out of escrow, they said they can't do that.  So, I let them know they don't need my credit card number either.  Posts about this company (?) need to be on every social media site there is!  Real Estate is difficult enough right now without being scamed!

is this the same company as REO solutions? I just got the same call today but he didn't use Absolute in the name of the company. Have they caught on and dropped the Absolute in REO Solutions?

I signed up with Absolute REO Solutions in Mar, 2011. I bought into the slick sales pitch that they had a new client in my zip code and needed someone to handle all the business. Interesting that the call came in about 2 P.M.on a Sat. I went ahead and put the $295 on my Visa card and within one or two days got an assignment to do a BPO for the $50.00 fee. They did pay right away but that's the LAST I ever heard from them. I have been trying to cancel and get my money back [as their contract said I could] but can't get anybody to answer----always a message to leave my name and phone # and someone will call me back. Been trying for 3 weeks !!! My advise is BEWARE ----stay away. Does anyone out there have any idea how to get the money back ??

I also bought the sales pitch.  I paid the $295, and they included that I would receive my money back within a year if I did not get an assignment.  The year has come and gone, and needless to say nobody will return my emails or phone calls.  STAY AWAY!  How can I get my money back?
