When people call my cellphone about a previous post that I've written I used to be able to go to the point summary page and simply scroll down to the year and month or find the title link and send out the information.
Now I can't find a bloody thing because someone in AR decided to turn my one lovely long beautiful sheet into short friggin' "click for the next page" pages.
I am now in point summary page HELL!!!!!! (LOL)
I still love you guys but I thought you should know that you've killed my productivity. I have over 199 pages I must now click through to get to something I can't remember if I wrote it in 2011, 2009 or 2008.
That's not funny...
What used to take less than a minute to do is now going to take me at least an hour (or more). I used to not have to remember the month and year I wrote something. I used to be able to simply scroll through the title list and click a link...
This is time consuming... I WANT TO BE HAPPY AND LAZY (LOL). I've written over a thousand posts on AR... I've got a music encyclopedia tracking me and other biographies going up in places I didn't expect to ever see me being featured in.
I know it's not going to happen but I really, really want my one page scroll summary back so when I have to send people quick links to a collection of thoughts (like the Paralegal 101 Tenant Landlord series of writings) or explain who is working with me on a project so they can be credited professionally (here's an example of that) I do not want to have to give up in frustration and say I can't immediately help a caller (e.g. editor and/or reporter) because I can't find my own friggin' work for them to link back to...
Did you know that ActiveRain is being used as a source of authority regarding my music and art career? It's a direct source from the artist so they quote the factual and disgard the rest (unless the trivia is entertaining - LOL). They hold it in the same esteem as Ward Nasse Gallery (41 years at the same location representing me since the late 1990's) and realize that I usually tell you guys what I'm creating before I even tell Tunecore and BMI (LOL). Anyone can follow the creative process here and figure out who to call for additional information because I've been lunching in public with my friends and sharing dinner moments as well (LOL).
Gotta go. I have to find all my Jessica Rebecca Klein posts because chicka is going in the music encyclopedia along with my brother. They got hubby (LOL).
SoundUnwound is a joint venture of the Internet Movie Database and Amazon.com so they verify every factual detail and may soon trump Wikipedia as the authority on recording artist information because SoundUwsound will categorize every performer on Amazon.
There are over 13 million MP3s on Amazon...
Imagine the sheer volume of data entry on this project regarding all the performers who created that music...
Imagine the dedication of the editors committed to seeing it through...
Now imagine my frustration at not being able to find all my music links when editors/reporters are checking up on their sources. They are always surprised when I answer my own cell phone and I am always amused that they expect to chat with my publicist and secretary.
Would that be Mr. Stephen or Mr. Noah? Hmm... I'll have to ask the little minions if they want to learn a new job (LOL). ;-)
