Kisten, I've visited just once and Sonoma cast it's spell on me. I can hardly wait to return for more.

What a beautiful shade of green, Kirsten!  It's going to be some time before we see geen here in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Doug:  Then you know these are the hills on the western side of Cougar  mountain...the opposite side from Infineon Speedway.   It's a view that you see driving up from San Francisco just before the turn-off that takes you up in to Sonoma and/or Napa Valleys.

Charles you come visit anytime.  Happy to show you around!

Sharon/Bruce:  Our hills here are either green or gold....rarely a speck of snow, nary a freeze.

Brenda:  California cows and cattle are lucky, indeed!  You've seen the ads for cheese?  Something like---"California cheese comes from happy cows???"

Thanks for the comment Michael...it was just before dusk and the light was special.

Kirsten, I have to laugh, you apparently caught the attention of all of them, and mine too.  Great job!

Sure did...almost started a stampede when I started shooting!  Guess I got them riled up when I yelled at them to smile at the camera.....

I like the photograph. The scene could inspire a painter. Thanks for sharing.

Kirsten,

Did I see an Oreo cow in the mix.  I remember herds of them in Napa.  Those pastoral scenes and environment do make happy cows and people. A
