Consider Staging Your Front Yard if Your are Selling Your Home

Spring

Spring has really sprung in my mother's front yard.  She has several Azalea bushes and other various flowing plants in her front yard.

Azaleas

I was thinking that Sellers could use my mom's green thumb in staging their front yards. I have written a few posts concerning this very idea.

A Bush

This concept is something that is not lost on you REALTORS® here on Active Rain.  If you have your yard staged with nice flowers and shrubs then potential buyers will want to come see the inside of your home.

a basket

If you can't afford to purchase flowers that are currently flowering from your local nursery then you can still do seeds. And that is much cheaper even if not time consuming.

Yet again if you have a nice bench and bird bath with flowers beds arranged in your front yard that would really make your yard look great!

So sellers, be sure to put your front yard on the list of home repairs and to do's in preparation of selling your home.

I have never heard it referred to as such, but it really is "staging" the yard, isn't it? Good thoughts. First impressions are everything. If the yard is terrible, they might not want to see the house.

Sussuie...

I agree that landscaping is often overlooked but it is the first thing that a potential nuyer sees and could make or break a dea.

Sussie, the azaleas are so pretty in the spring, and they are really easy to grow. I like them because they are evergreen, and very hardy. Lovely pictures, and great advice!

Your mother's Azaleas are amazing,  one of my favorite shrubs they are always so colorful.  Staging a yard is a great idea and it does not always take much as you said.  Perfect idea !
