Why is living in Carlsbad so wondeful? It could be our awesome weather. Or our prisinte beaches. We also have very bike and jogger/walker friendly trails throughout our town. The price of homes in Carlsbad has become very affordable. Just the other day, I looked at a home here in Carlsbad that had 3 bedrooms, two baths, private yard, and two car garage. This home was completely redone, from top to bottom, bamboo floors, travertine fireplace, granite counters, raised glass sink in bathroom, cherrywood cabinets, EVERYthing done. And it was only priced at $439,000.00 Now, if your not from Carlsbad, or San Diego, this might sound expensive. But four years ago homes in Carlsbad that looked this great were priced around $580,000.00 or more. Imagine living the good life, with gentle weather, award winning Carlsbad Schools, spectacular ocean views all over the town, and lovely people! I still pinch myself that I live in one of the most beautiful beach towns in the country!
