It's that time of the week again folks!
As promised, I've decided to make 2011 a year in which I introduce you, my dear readers, to a Rainer who you might not know, but probably should.
ActiveRain posts a "Member Spotlight" in their "Daily Drop" newsletter. This is my version...
For this week's post, that person is ActiveRain's very own:
Now I know that many of you already know Charles, but with so many new members recently, I'm certain there are some of you who do not, or are not subscribed to his blogs.
Charles is not only one of the most subscribed to bloggers here in the Rain, he's also one of the most knowledgeable home inspectors I've ever had the privilege of knowing. If you have a home inspection question, Charles knows the answer.
I've had the pleasure of speaking on the phone with Charles a bunch of times and he's definitely one laid back dude! But, he's an aggressive home inspector who knows his stuff.
Not many of you know this about Charles, but he was the inspiration for those new and very popular Old Spice commercials. Apparently the good folks at Old Spice saw this old ad Charles appeared in and came up with the idea for their new campaign...
Ladies, look at your man. Now look at Charles...
But that ad was a long time ago. These days, Charles resides in Seattle and spends most of his time performing home inspections.
In his spare time Charles works on perfecting his "Chia-Mobile".
Charles is a quiet man. And, unless he's working, he doesn't get out much. But don't worry folks. He enjoys his alone time. Some time ago, Charles invited me to his house and I was surprised to see that he really wasn't alone at all.
In fact, Charles has a lot of "friends"...
Anyway folks, if you aren't already subscribed to Charles' blog you need to go and do that right now. We'll wait. (insert Jeopardy theme here as we wait for you to return.)
I haven't actually had the opportunity to meet Charles, but I look forward to the day I do. Charles is a great guy with a great sense of humor. And I consider him my friend...
And, because he's my friend, Charles gets to wear the "Craig Rutman Lucky Sweater" this week!
