What Can a Green Real Estate Specialist Do For Your New or Listed Home?

As a licensed Home Energy Auditor, I am happy to extend my service to Home Buyers and Sellers.  Energy Savings is more important than ever with the rising prices and keeping your home utility expenses low means more money in your pocket.

Lighting Assessment:

Evaluate your exterior and interior home lighting using specialized software to determine home much your lighting cost is annually.

Provide a detailed report showing annual savings for Compact Fluorescent Light upgrades for your home's exterior and interior verses Incandescent Light Bulbs.  This report provides a side by side comparison of potential energy and cost savings on a monthly and yearly basis.

Air Leak Detection:

An Air Leakage audit can find up to 80% of energy problems in your home.  A thorough inspection of your homes windows, doors, attic hatch, wiring holes, plumbing caulk and recessed lighting can determine areas of heating and cooling loss.

Using an infrared thermometer, I am able to pinpoint areas of your home that may need to be replaced weatherproofed or caulked.  I will provide pictures of damage with recommendations for optimal energy savings.

Water Use and Conservation:

An inspection of your water heater will be completed to determine any energy loss.  Information and options for reducing water use in your shower and toilets will be provided.

Energy Consultation:
