Real Estate March Madness in Marion Ar

March Madness, I know many sports fans know what that means. I am not going to pretend I know, but I know it is related to basketball games. That tells you how knowledgeable I am about sports. But, I am knowledgeable of the real estate market in Marion Ar though!

We definitely had a real estate March Madness in Marion Ar. There was 17 houses pending, and 6 of them were under contract in less than 40 days on the market!! Buyers are out and about to buy, seriously. If you are a serious buyer, you may need to pick up your pace and put an offer on the house you really want and get it going, before someone else gets it while you are thinking about it.

Interest rate is still good, still have good amount of inventories for buyers to pick, there is no reason for a serious and ready buyer not to buy.

I was talking to a first time buyer yesterday, we are in the process of getting pre-approved to buy. He also agrees this is the best time to buy a house if someone is serious and ready. These words come out from a buyer, not a real estate agent. He didn't buy when the $8,000 tax credit was going on, he was not ready, but he is now; that is a serious and ready buyer.

Hi Rita. Yes, this is the final weekend for the last 4 teams in the NCAA March Madness. It certainly a great time for all buyers to make their moves while the rates are still low. You mentioned a buyer, who missed out on that $8,000 tax credit last year. My advice, "Don't Get Left Behind" this year.

Jerry, the buyer was not ready to buy at the time when the tax credit was going on, he is ready now. We are hoping the lender will finish his numbers on Monday and we can start looking for his new home ;)
