Graham Johnson Cultural Arts Endowment presents the Theatre Maniacs' inaugural production, "WHAT'S IN A NAME?", a musical review of Broadway's best NAME songs. Performances are at the Franklin Academy Theatre on Chalks Road at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 4, Friday, October 5, and Saturday October 6. Paws for Life 5K-9 Road Race

The Franklin County Humane Society is sponsoring the Paws for Life 5K-9 Road Race on Saturday, October 6. Registration will be held on the day of the race from 8:30 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. at the Wake Forest College Birthplace, 450 N. Main Street. Concert in the Park - Al Batten & The Bluegrass Reunion

You're invited to a free concert! On Sunday, October 7 at 3 p.m., Al Batten & The Bluegrass Reunion will perform a free concert at Holding Park, 133 W. Owen Avenue. The concert will last approximately two hours so bring a blanket or lawn chair, settle in and enjoy the music. In the event of rain, the concert will be held inside the Wake Forest Community House. Public Power Week and Customer Appreciation Day

Join Wake Forest Power and the Town of Wake Forest as we celebrate our public power heritage during Public Power Week with several customer appreciation events! Throughout the week we'll have free goodies for everyone who comes in to Town Hall, but October 10 is Customer Appreciation Day.
