All you members and followers of the Tea Party, of which I am proud to belong, be on the lookout for a few fake websites trolling around as the real thing. They just want your money and your email address.

These two websites are fake TEA Party organizations.

They use the momentum of the TEA Party movement to collect donations and then they sell the information from the unsuspecting people that donate to their websites.

From what I understand, they have taken in close to $300,000 in donations and pad their bank accounts with the $. Please do NOT give them any money and warn people to not sign up on their websites because they will sell their information to who knows who.

We want to protect the identities of those that help the real TEA Party groups and

STOP www.TeaParty.net AND www.TeaParty.us

You can add to that the following: Soros sites: tea party alert. Not true website just alerts they want you to sign up to........

Recently, one of our Illinois Tea Party leaders received an 'official' looking "Tea Party State of the Nation Survey". In addition to the questionnaire, it says that "This Tea Party State of the Nation Survey is paid for by "The Tea Party", a project of STATE DEPARTMENT WATCH, LTD.  Because State Department Watch is organized under chapter 501c4, gifts and contributions to "The Tea Party", a project of State Department Watch, are not deductible on your federal taxes.  Signed by Dale Robertson, "President and Founder" of the Tea Party

From 2009, This is Dale Robertson... bad news.  He certainly is not a "Tea Party Organizer".
http://washingtonindependent.com/73036/n-word-sign-dogs-would-be-tea-party-leader

He purchased the site www.teaparty.org in 2007, so when the movement started, he quickly bought approx. 25 of the state domains on 4/14/09 which now redirect to his site. www.illinoisteaparty.org

This is why our Illinois state site is www.illinoistea.org while our corporation name is Illinois Tea Party Inc.

While checking out this mail, I discovered this which appears to be 'Bogus GOP State of the Nation survey"; however, I have not confirmed.

And www.TeaParty.net continues to send eblasts and sell email addresses.

Please caution people to verify where their donations are going before contributing.
