Wasted time and effort, because a home you are looking at with clients went under contract 2 days ago!!! What the heck??

Have you ever had you day where you scheduled to show a client 12 houses and after you finished the 4 hour task, your client wanted to put in an offer right then?? So you call the agent to ask a few questions and before you could say two words, the agent said it went under contract 2 days ago. He was sorry, but didn't have time to change it in the system two days ago. What a complete waste of time for you and your client and if doesn't make you look to good either.

Have you ever had this happen to you??

Take the time to change the status as soon as it needs to be changed, Please.

Duane, we have run through this enough times now that we call the listing agent when we set up the showings. It takes a little more time but worth it to not run through this scenario. It doesn't make up for their lax business practices but it shows more effort (for us) toward our clients.

Yes, this is so annoying. It's a $100 fine here for violating (failing to report within 24 hours).

That would be great here, if have to report it to our MLS, then the offender I believe has 48 hours to fix the issue or they will be fined.
