I must be on a short sale high! The last few short sales where I represented the buyer have gone to settlement relatively quickly!
My buyer for a beautiful townhouse at The Villages of Piedmont in Haymarket, VA closed in just over 3 months! From ratification to closing, a short sale can take anywhere from 3 months to 9 months (and even longer depending on the circumstances). I am happy to report that we were able to get this one done so quickly!
