I don't know how they did it or even came up with the question to ask people in a survey, but the folks responsible for U.S. News and World Report put Santa Fe, New Mexico on one of their 10 Best Maps again. Santa Fe, New Mexico is now one of the 10 Best Places to Reinvent Your Life in Retirement. It must be our dirt roads, endless blue sky, clean air and now our rare buyer's market which is appealing to so many baby and echo boomers. I confess, I am a boomer and I did reinvent my life here with a lifestyle change by the simple act of relocating over 15 years ago. Looking back now after moving from Capitol Hill inside the Washington DC beltway even before becoming a baby boomer, it is impossible for me to find anything disappointing about living here. After all, we still have lots of places to finish dreams or ways to launch the next phase in your life or work or passion in a community 401 years young. In my experience, Santa Fe just gets better every day. Perhaps this is why we are in the top ten.
This view is what you see when you walk or drive from the dead end of the cul-de-sac road named Calle Pinonero. The Sangre de Cristo mountains are nearly straight ahead. There is a home here on the market waiting for a buyer who wants to reinvent their life in retirement in Santa Fe. Is this you or your next home? If your answer is yes, then let's get started.
