Today's focus is on a property located in Denton, Texas.  This beautiful Victorian home is located at 723 W. Oak, Denton, Texas.  Located in the Oak-Hickory Historic District, this property was built in 1898 and designated as historic in January, 1981.  Although this home has some aspects of Gothic architecture, this property is primarily built in Victorian style architecture.

723 W Oak

Typical of Victorian architecture, this home incorporates decorative details seen in the brackets, spindles porch posts and gables. This home's exterior is highly ornamental with plenty of pattern-work.

Can't you just picture the homeowners in the Victorial era, sitting in the rocking chairs on the ample front porch one calm evening?

Diana - I *LOVE* old victorians!  That one is beautiful!!!  We don't really have them out here in AZ, but I've lived in MI, OH and TN, all of which had them....
