GETTING YOUR HOME Ready TO SELL...... CAN TAKE TIME AND SOME $$$
Mr and Mrs Seller, we never ask you to do anything WE do not have to do when we sell our own home.
My husband and I decided, in this interesting market, to place our home on the market and downsize.... Two of the three boys are married with homes of their own, we no longer NEED the large house. Our third son, is not living at home either.
It took a while to get it the way we wanted it to put on the market. The closets breed-ed stuff, I tell you! Did I really accumulate all this myself? AM I a hoarder in my own way!!! Oh my! I think everyone should move every 10 years just for the going through the thinning out process.
We have lived in our home for 10 years, so we needed to change out some carpets and do fresh painting inside the home. Why did we not do this for our enjoyment? I love my home and know it will be a blessing to the new buyer! We found ourselves wanting it to be PERFECT for the market!!!
It does take time and $$$ to get your home ready to sell. I can empathize with you, as we have (are) going through the process ourselves!
As a seller we need to decide what it is you are willing to do to get your home right for the market, clean it up and make it as presentable as you can.... Keeping the NEW OWNER in mind, remove your personal effects and showcase the beauty that attracted you to the property!!
May the buyers come to all the homes of the Seller's!!! :)
