When I have any time to spare on weekends, I usually try to read something for pleasure. No business books, no motivational stories, just pure fun. Suspense novels are probably on top of my list, particularly written by David Baldacci.
David Baldacci used to be a corporate and trial attorney in Washington, DC, so his stories usually take place around DC area. Since I live close to DC, David's stories are even more fun to read - I am familiar with the places he writes about.
He became a bestselling author after writing his first novel, "Absolute Power."Many of you probably remember a movie based on this book, with Gene Hackman as the President, and Clint Eastwood as a thief who happened to witness a murder implicating the President.
Since this is a Mother's Day weekend, I'm planning to spend a large portion of it reading for fun. Have any of you read his latest book, "The Sixth Man"? I would love to hear what you think of Baldacci's last book. I am also open to suggestions of other books and authors you love.
Although I prefer reading printed books, I also own a Nook (Kindle), so I can download any book you recommend within a few minutes. Sometimes technology is great! No need to leave home, if you don't feel like it, to get a new book.
