That's right! In order to enter into Storybook Land in Disneyland, you have to go in through the digestive track of Monstro the whale...Once you enter into Storybook Land you will get to see Cinderella on her way to the Castle to meet her prince charming, see the city of Agraba where Aladdin and Jasmin took a magic carpet ride into "a whole new world", the house where Pinoccio became a real boy, and so much more.
Stacy - Monstro the whale is very cool looking and I bet the kids love it. It also reminds me of Herman Melville's classic, Moby Dick! Anything that inspires kids (or adults) to read is always a good thing!
Hi Stacey, I didn't know about this. How fun! I've been to Disney World lots of times but haven't been to Disneyland. Do oyu live nearby?
Kristine-I always see soo many kids in line for this ride! You are right, anything that inspires imagination and motivates them to pick up a book and read is a fantastic thing! I may not be a kid but even today everything about Disneyland inspires me! :)
Joanne-I would absolutely love to go to Disneyworld someday.. But yes I live about 25 minutes away from Disneyland.. I have an Annual Pass so I go pretty often.. It helps me keep my sanity.. hehe.. :)
