Fourteen More Days To Go

It's the 17th day of the 31 Days of May Challenge and my mind is exhausted.  Will I make it to the end? I don't know!  All I want is to post this tonight so I can breathe a little. But then the process starts again tomorrow.

Will I have something lined up for tomorrow? I don't know! It's more than halfway done, with 14 more blogging days to go!

Field of Wildflowers on Greenmount Rd, Belleville, IL

But just when you're feeling overwhelmed, look out the window and see the beautiful things around you--just like this field of yellow wildflowers in Belleville, Illinois.

Those flowers are beautiful.. it looks like spring has sprung.  We aren't sure here in NH... my heat came on last night... and I thought it was beginning to look a lot like summer... I guess I will have to wait.

Lovely field of flowers.

The May contest is killing me.  I said I would, so I will post everyday, but many of them were fluff posts.  :(

You, on the other hand, are doing a great job on your posts, I feel like I am cheating!

Lovely photo and thanks for reminding me how many more posts I have to do this month lol.  There has only been one time so far this month that I almost forgot to post.  It has actually been much easier than I thought it would be to post.

The hardest part has been keeping up with commenting and replying to comments.  I'm not used to posting every day so it gets a bit overwhelming and I seem to be spending more time than I should on Active Rain.

But we've made it over the hump so onwards and upwards.

Howdy and evening to you Yolanda

Yolanda,
you sure are doing mighty fine job with this here 31 Days of May Challenge! 14 more days to go, is not anything. You can do it, I know you can! Below is a little something for you.

The mountains, I become part of them,
the herb, the fir tree, I become part of it.
The morning mist, the clouds gathering water, I become part of it.

Have a good one

It IS getting hard! I had a plan for my posts starting out, but have gone to Plan B, and even gave up once and posted a picture of my cat, just to get a post in. Hang in there!

Hi, Joan. Thank you! We were driving back from our tour yesterday and this came into view. Spring has been here in this parts with the usual rain and sunny days fighting each day. lol

Virginia - Thank you for your kind words. Your posts are far from fluffy, they are fun and the pictures are beautiful! This challenge is very demanding, but like you I'm committed or be committed to a mental state. LOL

Hi, Jenny. You're right about the commenting. I pretty much only comment on the challenge-related posts lately. Thank you for taking the time!

Lorinda - I'm sorry you fell off the challenge wagon. Please continue to post anyway, it's a way to keep in touch and build your base on ActiveRain. Thank you for your encouragement! Your granddaughter's picture always make me smile!

Hi, Dale. That's a sweet prose... I am touched. Thank you so much!

Rose - It's more difficult than I thought. The comments are keeping me going. Thank you, together we will make it!

Hi, Kwee. I appreciate your kind words. Thank you!

Hi Yolanda,  What a lovely picture.  I can just imagine running thru that field of flowers.  You will make it thru the month.  You are more than halfway now and you are a better writer already with all this practice!  You'll probably have more topics than you have days by the time it is finished.

Yolanda: Didn't get to comment last night but I'm here now. The wildflower field is beautiful and refreshes the soul when the good lord can provide such a beautiful scene for all to enjoy. Keep'em coming.

Good evening, Ricki! We have a lot fields like that around here since we're late with planting corn--too much moisture. I understand you have the opposite situation, too little moisture. Mother Nature is toying with us. Thank you for your encouraging words!

C&C - Hello! You're both keeping me on my toes, so I have to keep posting. LOL It's our field of gold for now. Soon we'll have fields of green cornfields.  Thank you for dropping by!
