A new restaurant by Michael Selvanto, Michael's on the Bay, was recently opened in Barnegat overlooking Barnegat Bay.
Michael's On The Bay, at Sun Harbor Bay Club, is sure to be the "Jersey Shore's" premier Steak, Seafood & Pasta House. Proprietor Michael "Uncle Mike" Selvanto, decided to provide eclectic cuisine & warm service to the neighborhood & tourists alike with breathtaking bay-front views. Michael's On The Bay is a great place to "flock" when meeting friends, relaxing, or getting away from the daily routine.
One of the unique ideas Michael has for the restaurant is putting up a 50 foot screen in the outdoor dining area for a drive-in...except this drive-in is by boat. That's right, you'll be able to sit on your boat and watch a movie...great fun!
Michael Servanto is a music producer and concert promoter. He is mostly known for organizing the LIVE 8 concert in Philadelphia in 2005. It was one of the first Live 8 concerts announced, as the city had played host to its Live Aid predecessor in 1985, and, until the inclusion of a concert outside Toronto, was the only city in North America to represent Live 8. It did, however, remain the only United States city to participate in the event.
The Live 8 Philly lineup included megastars Stevie Wonder, The Black-Eyed Peas, Toby Keith, Bon Jovi, Kanye West, Dave Mathews Band, Linkin Park, Def Leppard, Keith Urban, Rob Thomas and included other entertainment stars such as Natalie Portmam and Will Smith.
There will be entertainment Friday and Saturday night and Sunday afternoon....considering"Uncle Mike's" connections, who knows what you'll see...or hear...on Barnegat Bay.
Michael's on the Bay is open Friday and Saturday, 6 AM until ???? During the week (Sunday thru Thursday) 6 AM to 9 PM. Boat delivery and catering is available...so get to Michael's on the Bay, either by car or by boat!
