Memorial Day means different things to different people. To some it's the first holiday of the summer season. To others, maybe a holiday sale for some product or service that they've been saving for.
But for others, it will be a time of sadness, maybe mixed with joy in remembering a friend or loved one who was killed while serving in the armed forces of the United States.
Freedom is never free. Someone always has to pay. Some pay with tax money, some pay with service, and others pay the ultimate price. Give thanks to the fallen, give support to their families, and remember freedom is not free.
A friend sent me a link to this YouTube video. It does a great job in pictures of recognizing the sacrifices of the troops and their families.
