Flood Watch 2011, Utah. A year of record snowfall and rain have left many people in Utah worried about the yearly snow melt and potential flooding. People have been sandbagging for about a month in preparation for the big thaw. The big thaw has yet to happen for most areas.
Our spring has been cooler than normal but also wetter than normal. Our local newspaper has a fantastic website where you can see live updates of the rivers all over Utah and their current status.
