We think they are trying to track people so they can make sure the taxes are in the right name. About five years ago, when my husband and I bought some furniture at a warehouse sale, the Lower Makefield police followed the truck from the township line through another borough and back out to our home to "ask" if we were moving. My husband told them "been there, done that" and that was it. We live in a nice suburban community, pretty much a bedroom community for people who work in New York, Princeton and Philadelphia, so we don't have a lot of crime. It would be good if the police had more important things to do. LOL

It is absolutely astounding that any American citizen could possibly pass on, and therefore enable and implicitly condone such an illegal and disturbing "ordinance". The U.N. Convention on Human Rights, not to mention the U.S. Constitution, bans dimwits and tyrants alike from carrying out activities like this that infringe upon the human right to travel or move. Pennsylvania, Bucks County in particular, once again waives its flag to demonstrate what an ill-informed, regressive place it is.
