The Academy School District 20 Real Estate Market - May 2011
The summer buying season is upon us. For the month of May, we saw typical buying and listing signs in Academy School District 20 that will hopefully continue through August. Number of sales are up 12% over April, average sales price are up 2.5%, and sales to list price is improving from 97% to 97.3% due to the increased competition. Surprisingly, the number of new homes on the market in Academy School District 20 remained unchanged at 217. Days on market did increased 12% with months of inventory at just under 7 months. It is interesting to note that 20% homes sold in Academy School District 20 were priced over $400,000.
