Our 46th wedding anniversary

The years go by too quickly.  Today, Dolores and I are celebrating our 46th wedding anniversary.  I will share our secret for a long and happy marriage.  It is all possible because I selected the best wife in the world.  Life is very good.

Thanks to all that have made comments on my Facebook page. 

We are having a beautiful sunny day in Kentlands.  Fine weather for my early walk through the neighborhood with my camera in hand.

Wow... 46 years.  That is fabulous and very romantic that you would be so proud as to put it on AR.  On this occasion I would like to share what I heard many years ago, as the best kept secret for a long and happy marriage.  I heard this from someone that was celebrating 75 years of marriage.  They said "A marriage can stay in tact a very long time, if you don't fall out of love at the same time".  This made all the sense in the world to me as that applies to my husband and I after 35 years.  Marriages are peaks and valleys, but you just have to make sure that you are both on different schedules (of peaks and valleys), and somehow it wil withstand the test of time.
