What is happening in Catonsville, Md this weekend? "Frederick Road Fridays" is Back!
What a great way to start the weekend. From June 17th till September 2nd on Friday evenings you can take a stroll down Frederick Rd to Egges Lane (right beside the fire station) and enjoy a wide range of local music for free. This season starts with 5 Oaks. This once little event, that started a few years back has now become a local Summer favorite.
Bring your chair and the family and enjoy the evening. Come out and meet all your neighbors doing the same thing.
Jennings has a beer garden and all the great Catonsville Restaurants on Frederick Road are open for business.
One of my favorite local bands is the Kelly Bell Band, sadly not on the schedule this year, but last year they did a fine job of entertaining the crowd from the mobile wooden stage on the side of the road. The music played long past the 8:30 cut off time. It was the best performance of the season.
This is another fine community event provided by the Catonsville Chamber of Commerce. Yet another reason why Catonsville residents love to call Catonsville home!
