Be Safe

A lot of our visitors are overcome by the beauty of Gulf Coast and forget about safety. This week we lost a 15-year-old girl visiting from Georgia. She went on what she thought was an innocent stroll down the beach with a young man barley out of his teens. A few hours later her body was found by authorities barley a mile from the condominium where here family was staying. This young man had apparently beaten her to death. He happened to be home grown. Resort communities attract not only vacationers but also criminals from all over the country because they can blend in with other visitors.

Keep your guard up when visiting resort areas and warn your children again about strangers.  Have fun but be safe.
