July 1, 2011, Happy Canada Day!
Today is Canada's 144th birthday and she never looked better! We love this country, it is a wonderful place to live and so gorgeous and friendly to visit!
From sea to shining sea there are so many beautiful things to enjoy. Gorgeous Stanley Park in Vancouver, Banff in Alberta, Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia, Parliament Buildings in Ottawa, architecture in Quebec and of course our renown C.N. tower and waterfront in Toronto, to name only a few.
We are so thankful for those that served and for those that are still serving to protect this great land called Canada. We are not just paying lip service on this historical day, we truly mean it with heartfelt thanks. We salute you.
Huge celebrations will take place in Brampton, Ontario, Canada at the Powerade Centre on Kennedy Rd. south of Steeles Ave.today July 1, 2011. There is something for everyone with four stages of live entertainment, wall climbing, interactive Art-of-Ice, midway, flying circus acts, fun zone, monster truck, the traditional cake cutting and more all leading up to the grand finale of the night with fireworks display set to music at 10:00 p.m.
O'Canada, we do love thee!
